In east country, people always greet their older people politely with their
greeting name. As indonesian people, if they meet with their older sister or older
brother they always say, Kakak.... to respect them. In this case, theres a gap
between them. Thus, the +eneration +a# bet,een older and youn+er #eo#le in
most countries in the ,orld is sim#ly too ,ide to be brid+ed.
owe!er,In west country, teenagers usually call their parents or older people
with their personal name directly. "or e#ample, Alices older brother name is
$eter, she usally call his brother,$ete.. come here% she always do that. Theres
no gap of them because it is their culture. &ith this habit, theres a close
relation between older and younger people. Then, theres no afraidness between
them for asking somthing or interaction.
In the other hand, following west country culture is not really good to reali'e in
daily life. "irstly, we ha!e to raise polite !alue between older and younger
people. (o that, younger people more respect to older people. And it make a
comfortable relationship that should be happen.
(econdly, because there is gap between older and younger people ,attitude of
teenager can be controled. )ounger people obey the rules from their parent.
