compare psychology education in Norway and the United state, but also see how the culture differ. I went to Norway for the summer where I talked to student, and people who had taken psychology courses. I also had to do some research on my own about the education in Norway and the United States. Project Highlights From this project I learned about the two different educations systems, so I can now give advice to Norwegian students wanting to study psychology in Norway or Americans who want to study in Norway. It also made me about their culture. While I was in Norway I got to celebrate their national day, which is 17th of May. Everybody put their national clothing on and met on the street where they were singing. Going to Norway allowed me to meet new people, and make me aware of the cultural differences between Norway and the United States. From My Journal Today is 17th of May, and we have all put on out nicest clothing, our national Norwegian culture Ingrid Nystad Global Psychology Fall 2014 My mom and brother in their national clothins 17th of may One of the places I visited was Grimstad, Norway clothes. We went to the city where it was packed with people. The roads were closed and everybody was wearing their national clothes, showing their pride to the country. The were bands from all the different schools that people walked after and sang the national songs. We eat a lot of hot dogs and ice cream which is a tradition in Norway. It was a very special and fun way to celebrate the national day.
