ABSTRACT

Title: No Girlfriend Since Birth (NGSB) Bachelors: A Journey Of Love

The main purpose of this study is to know the Journey of Love of selected NGSB
bachelors in Lucban, Quezon. The research used the descriptive methods, qualitative. It
involves recording, interviewing, manuscript making, analysis and interpretation of data.
Respondents of this study were treated in a case study and content analysis of their stories
in which the researcher conducted series of interviews in order to gather information. The
respondents in this study were seven (7) males, heterosexual, forty (40) years of age and
above in selected towns in Lucban, Quezon and one (1) from Luisiana, Laguna. Based on
the finding of the study, the researchers have arrived at a conclusion that these NGSB
bachelors experienced common patterns of viewing their Socio-Economic Status by
Trepidation. In addition, most of these bachelors have experienced High Apprehension of
External Locus and Lack of Assertiveness as common factors that have affected their
love journey as NGSB bachelors. While the state of happiness of most of these NGSBs
were high, and their level of regret was mostly low.
