Taking a look at the real world

Getting out of my comfort zone

Camping with strangers
Finding a better job
Having better opportunities
This was very practical and helpful in
order to show us how the real world
works
Allowed us to become more familiar with
our classmates and possibly future
colleagues

For this activity I chose sustainability. To
do this I decided to challenge myself
and use public transportation as much
as possible. I did this for the following
reasons:
Cutting down pollution
Exercising more
Saving money

Interviewing Others
Interviewing people on uncomfortable
topics.
( i.e. religion)
Camping with strangers
Camping & cooking for two days with
people I didnt know
Relying on each other
First job interview experience
Got a better job for an internship that I
couldnt have expected
Boosted my self-confidence
I think that even though the semester
is barely half way over it has changed
my life tremendously and in many
positive ways. For example Im still using
public transportation, learned to get out
of my comfort zone, and I got my dream
job!
The only changes I would make in this
program would be better guidance in
Tuesday Experiences.
