Now that we have read and discussed the excerpts from William Bradfords Of Plymouth
Plantation, your task is to write a similar account of an experience you had.
1. Describe the experience of arriving here in the United States. Be sure to tell where
you are coming from, where in the US you have arrived, and what you first see
(describe in detail!). This is due Tuesday 9/16!
2. Tell about the series of events throughout this experience.
3. Discuss the feelings or ideas that occurred to you during this experience.
This assignment should take the form of three (3) separate entries, similar to that of a diary or a
journal. Each entry should be a page long (typed) and should have an entry date (you may make
up the date if you choose).
Finally, all entries should be related to an experience that occurred here in America. You should
choose ONE experience that you describe, tell of the events, and discuss your feelings.
