On the midline of the sternum at the
sternocostal angle.
LOCATION NOTE

is level with the fifth intercostal space at the mamillary
line.
NEEDLING
Transverse insertion, directed superiorly or inferiorly
along the midline, 0.5 cun.
ACTIONS
Unbinds the chest
Regulates the Stomach and descends rebellion
INDICATIONS
Fullness of the chest and lateral costal region,
oesophageal constriction, difficult ingestion, vomit-
ing after eating, vomiting of breast milk in infants,
cold and pain of the umbilicus.
COMBINATIONS
Vomiting: Zhongting REN-16, Shufu KID-27 and
Yishe BL-49 (Supplementing Life).
Oesophageal constriction, with difficult ingestion
and vomiting: Zhongting REN-16 and Zhongfu LU-1
(Thousand Ducat Formulas).
Difficult ingestion: Zhongting REN-16, Zigong
