RED RIBBON WEEK- October 6-10:
Monday: Let's put drugs to bed. (Wear your PJs to school.)
Tuesday: I am a superhero! I have the power to say no to drugs. (Wear your
favorite superhero shirt or the colors of your favorite hero. No costumes!)
Wednesday: My future is so bright without drugs! (Wear bright colors.)
Thursday: We are in a war against drugs. (Wear camo, or camo colors.)
Friday: We are teaming up against drugs. (Wear your favorite team shirt.)

THis week we will continue studying Unit One in the Literature book. AR books
should be read each evening. There are no AR grades on the Progress Reports. AR
counts 40% of the grade on the report cards.

Science - Mrs. Freeman (ginger.freeman@sccboe.org)
We are continuing to learn about climate and weather. Students should have 8
pages in their journal.. Please continue to review highlighted section in journal.

Social Studies - Mrs. Smith (april.smith@sccboe.org)
We will do Lesson 7, Topic 4, and Lesson 8 next week. Our quiz will be on Thursday,
September 18. We will start having all quizzes on Thursdays instead of Fridays
