RED RIBBON WEEK- October 6-10: Monday: Let's put drugs to bed. (Wear your PJs to school.) Tuesday: I am a superhero! I have the power to say no to drugs. (Wear your favorite superhero shirt or the colors of your favorite hero. No costumes!) Wednesday: My future is so bright without drugs! (Wear bright colors.) Thursday: We are in a war against drugs. (Wear camo, or camo colors.) Friday: We are teaming up against drugs. (Wear your favorite team shirt.) Language Arts - Mrs. Wendt (sara.wendt@sccboe.org) Writing a personal narrative. There are no AR grades on the Progress Reports. AR counts 40% of the grade on the report cards. Science - Mrs. Freeman (ginger.freeman@sccboe.org) We will continue our work with weather. journals were graded friday and returned today. Social Studies - Mrs. Smith (april.smith@sccboe.org) We will have a whole class review game for the unit 1 Test on Monday. Your student was given a study guide on Friday. The Unit 1 test is on Tuesday, October 7. On Wednesday, we will start Unit 2 - Westward Expansion. We will complete the Topic 6 Lesson and Lesson 11.
