Science Update
Butterflies

We begin our unit on Butterflies this week. Our Painted

Lady caterpillars will arrive at
AEEC this week! We are so excited to meet our new caterpillar
friends and learn all about them
over the next several weeks.
We will observe their growth
this week. We will learn about
their body parts and begin investigating the stages of the Butterflys Life Cycle. We will make
a fun craft caterpillar creating
the 13 body segments. I will
read The Hungry Caterpillar
and The Crunching, Munching
Caterpillar. We will also watch
the Magic School Bus: Butterflies.

Math News
GO MATH
Chapter 9
MeasurementMetric Units

Students will continue measuring length

using centimeters and meters. Chapter 9
Test will be given on Tuesday next week.
I will send home a study guide for HW on
Monday.
Chapter 9 Math HW packet is due on
April 10th.

Please review, sign, and return your childs 3rd Nine Weeks
Report Card by Friday this week if you have not already returned it. I will send home a copy for you to keep for your records. Thanks!
Fathers, come join us at our first All Pro Dads Breakfast
at AEEC on Tues., April 7th. All Pro Dad is a program designed
to unite dads with their children in and out of school. The All
Pro Dads breakfast begins at 6:45 a.m. in the Tiger Den. Dads,
remember to bring your child(ren) and $2.00 (for each person
eating) if you plan to have a biscuit with your child. Hope to
see you there!
