On August 10, 2014, was our 2 nd immersion on baliok, which is located on Toril. A 40-60min drive from school depending on the traffic. So I got up early and prepare the things I needed for our stay including the things for our foster family. I and my group mates brought food and drinks for our lunch with the family.
When we arrive at the place, we saw her two children looking outside of the window. Its like they were waiting for us. There were also fresh harvested fruits like durian, lansones and rambotan, which we ate together with them. After lunch, we started the interview and the flow of the interview was smooth.
As the interview ended, I was thinking of the answers she said and reflected on it. I compared my life to theirs, which is completely different and far apart. Therefore, I learned that life isnt the same for all, others goes through a lot of challenges and sufferings everyday of their life. Moreover, we shouldnt judge too quickly because if youll put yourself on their shoes, youll know what they feel and you would understand their situation.
