1. How many human rights are guaranteed, according to the document?

There are 30 articles so I assume that the Declaration guarantees 30 rights for all people
on Earth.
2. According to the Universal Declaration, how should respect for human rights be
promoted?
It says that people must be taught to respect human rights through education,
internationally and nationally.
3. Which two articles of the Declaration do you think are the most important? Give reasons
for your answer.
I believe Article 1 and Article 18 are the most important. First I believe that article 3 is
the most important because I believe for all people to have equal rights then all people
should believe that all people are born free and equal and I believe that we can never
advance if we dont use reason and conscience and act as brothers. Second I believe that
article 18 is another important one because I think that all people should be entitled to
their thoughts and believes whether they believe in god or not, and I dont want people
killing each other because of this petty argument.
4. Should a nations record on human rights be the major factor in determining the United
States relationship with that nation? Explain your answer.
I think that if a nation has a bad record on human rights then someone should step in and
stop whoever is responsible for taking the rights away, so I think that a nations record on
human rights should determine our relationship with that nation.
