How are you old friend? I hope I see you soon my friend but I think that this will not be the case.
The Serbs are hunting Muslims and killing them on sight, I cant even go outside without fearing for my
life. This war is nothing but a massacre and that lunatic Milosevic is leading the genocide against my
people. He demands that all non-Serbs leave or die. Those crazy Serbs should stay in their country and
leave us alone. Why must we leave? Why must we leave our homes, our jobs, and our homeland?
That psychopath is killing every non-Serb. He is no better that Hitler, this war, this Bosnian war
as they call it, is nothing more than a slaughter, a holocaust of the Croats and the Muslims. He must be
stopped, but the Americans and the UN are too busy fighting in the Persian Gulf. You know sometimes
I think of all the people like me, scared in their homes because of the Serbian shelling and the fighting
outside. I see people out in the street getting shot when they were trying to escape the violence. I know
that Milosevic is the cause of all of this, but I wonder if we will ever be able to forgive the Serbs for what
they did to us. I hope this war ends and we learn from this war. I hope that there wont be conflict after
conflict after this war. Yesterday I heard of a American reporter trying to help us get help, but I think
that even if we get help, will the Serbs be punished for the pain and misery they inflicted upon us, will
justice be served?
I am afraid for my life. Every day I see a new person whos been shot and I think about how that
couldve been me. I think about how an artillery shell could come through the ceiling at any time or they
could come in my house and kill me. I dont want to live like an animal anymore. Someone has to stop
that maniac whether the Americans, UN, or one of us. I hope I can see you soon my friend.
