supportsonlyHuaweiWCDMAnetwork.

GEOANALYSISOVERVIEW
GeoAnalysis is a new feature on Xeus which enables you to estimate a location using nonGPS based
NetworkMeasurementRecordings.XeususesGeoAnalysistoperformGeolocateusingarelativesignal
strength.AnalysisonGeoAnalysisisdonethroughplotsandreporting.GeoAnalysisinCHRisautomated
andislimitedtocallsetupposition.UsingGeoAnalysis,geolocatedeventsandmeasurementscan be
plottedandareaswheresignificantpilotoverlapsidentified.

IMPORTCHRLOGFILES
YouneedtoensurethefollowingbeforeyouimportCHRdata:
1. Correctlogfileformat
2. HuaweiNetworkData

CHRdataisbestanalyzedwhenyouhaveHuaweiRNCCHRlogfile.Itwillprovidecompleteanalysisfor
neighbor optimization. You can refer to Xeus Pro Quick Guide for further information on importing
networkdata.

Now,followthesestepstostartimportingHuaweiRNCCHRlogs:
1. GotoFile>ImportandExport>ImportHuaweiRNCCHRlogs.

2. ClickonAddFilesbuttonandselecttheCHRlogfile.SelectAddFolder,ifyouhaveplacedthe
logfilesinafolder.
3. ClickonBrowsebuttonandselectfiles.


4. ClickNextbuttontocontinue.


5. ClickonFinishbuttontocompletetheparsingprocess.

Ifparsingissuccessful,youcanbeginanalyzingCHRdata.

CHRdatabaseloadsautomaticallytogetherwithitssummaryattheProjectExplorerafterparsing.
LoadingthedatabasewillalsoautomaticallyloadtheStartPage.

XeusallowsyoutoanalyzeissuesfromStartPage.Toanalyze:
1. SelectCellswithmorethan3%droppedcallsattheIssuessection.
2. Viewtheaffectedcell(s)atthegraphonyourright.Mouseoveronthegraphtoviewthetotal
droppedcallsandpercentageforeachcell.

3. ClickonAnalyzefurtherwithDroppedCallAnalysislinkattheSuggestedActionsarea.Youwill
bedirectedtoDroppedCallAnalysispage.

4. AttheDroppedCallAnalysispage,rightclickonasliceatthechartandclickonListAllDropped
Callsatthecontextmenu.
5. Youcanviewalldroppedcallsattheworkbench.Refertotheimagebelow.

GeoAnalysis
GeoAnalysisisanestimationofthecallsoreventsbasedonageographicallocation.Thisfeatureenables
userstogeneratevariousplottingscenariosbasedontheestimatedgeographicallocationfortheCHR
calls. Users can also analyze CHR abnormal event with the dimension of the estimated location. Xeus
usesseveralpropagationdelayandmobiletriangularcalculationtoperformlocationestimation.
