Spelling Words
In Phonics we will be learning the R Blends dr, fr,
gr. These 2 letters are blended together to make
a new sound. All of the words are CCVC or CCVCC
words (consonant, consonant, vowel, consonant).
The words will all be 4 or 5 letters long.
Some examples of words to practice are
drdress, drag, drop, drug
frFred, fret, frog, frill
grgrass, grill, grin, grid

Our sight words for this week are
for, said, help, make, play

We will take a spelling test on 10 r blend
words and these 5 sight words on Thursday.
Please practice each night.
