STAGE says Support the State
Come be a part of State Theatre Arts Guild and join in our efforts
to restore and renovate the Oroville State Theatre. Formed in 1979
as the Oroville Community Center Committee, STAGE has been the
driving force for the purchase, renovation, and restoration of the Oro-
ville State Theatre. STAGE has purchased theatrical equipment, un-
derwritten some performances, and occasionally provides volunteer
staff. STAGE is currently sponsoring the Theatre Organ Restoration
Project. STAGE continues searching for funding sources and raising
the publics awareness of the Theatre.

American River Chorus
numbers just shy of 100 members, drawing from all over Northern California
and Nevada, from brand new barbershop harmony singers to seasoned veterans
of the music form. American River Chorus was formed in Sacramento in 2009
and is ofcially known as the California Delta Chapter of the Barbershop Har-
mony Society (BHS). ARC has twice won the BHS Far Western Districts NorCal
East Division Competition.
The mission of the American River Chorus is to create harmony as a male
singing ensemble through performance, fraternity, personal growth, and shared
musical experiences of the highest caliber. Our vision of harmony includes sing-
ing a cappella music primarily in the barbershop style.

is four really talented guys from the Sacramento area who recently formed
as a quartet. They have earned the honor of being crowned the 2012 Quartet
Champions of the Far Western District (California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii)
of the Barbershop Harmony Society.
The Bass, Jason Dyer, just nished his music degree at Sacramento State Uni-
versity and has begun work on his teaching credential - hes also a budding ar-
ranger. Gabe Caretto, Baritone, is the music director of ARC and has competed
on stage on all four voice parts. Rich Brunner, on the Lead part, is a lifelong
barbershopper, who earned a music degree but chose a career in technology.
The groups Tenor, Todd Kidder, comes from a barbershop family and has been
singing since age 4 when he, dad and brothers toured with the USO and ap-
peared on the Ed Sullivan Show.

meaning Good Health to you is in their tenth year of performing around the
North State. There have been eight different singing combinations so far and
they can only hope that they nally got it right! Lead, Denny Strub is the only
original member of the quartet. The other 3 are Norm Roberts, Ron Halvorson,
and Al Salazar. These four guys love to sing barbershop harmony and have many,
many years of musical presentation behind them.
