APERTURE

By Issy Burgham
What is aperture?
Aperture is the opening of a lens diaphragm where the light
passes through. the shutter release button of a camera will
open up a hole that allows the image sensor to catch a
glimpse of the scene you want exactly. The larger the hole the
more light that gets in the smaller the hole the less light.

How does aperture work?
When there is a lot of light, the lens
automatically decreases to get the amount of
light it can take. But when there isn't enough
of light, the lens widens to allow more light in.
How does aperture affect the
photograph?
Aperture makes the photograph look more
focused on one element of the picture to
make it stand out more. The other things in
the picture will be blurred and you can adjust
the blur as well.
