PURCHASE ORDER SPECIFICATION FOR BALANCING

MACHINE FIT FOR PERFORMING ROUTINE JOBS AT CHILCA


UNO COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT AS PER INVESTMENT
ORDER # 50001848

1. BALANCING MACHINE CHARACTERISTICS:
a. The balancing machine should be able to accommodate and be fit for performing routine
balancing jobs for rotor masses not greater than 500 Kg in a safe fashion.
b. The balancing speed may vary from 100 up to 1800 RPM:
i. Balancing quality for general machinery, fans, blowers, compressors, pumps and
electric motors of shaft height at least 80 mm should be G 6.3
ii. Balancing quality for electric motors of shaft height at least 80 mm and service
speeds above 950 RPM should be G 2.5
c. Dimensions to be used as reference for prospective rotor masses are attached herein:





d. The balancing machine should include enough documentation for guaranteeing trouble-
free operation and maintenance of both mechanical and electronic components.
e. The balancing machine should exhibit a certificate of compliance for the purpose.
f. Training sessions for safely and effectively operating the equipment including
accessories and tools should be considered in the bidding process.
g. Final machine location: Chilca Uno Power Plant, Panamericana Sur Km 63.5. Chilca,
Lima, Peru, Southamerica. A map is available upon request. EnerSur Logistics
department may ease up this so that overseas vendors can match this requirement.
