Strategy Name: Think Out loud Strategy #4

1. Brief Description (in your own words):

a. Think out loud is great way for students to share what they think about the task
at hand. This strategy can be used before or after an activity. Using this strategy
can be used in many ways with your students. Think out loud allows the students
mentally and verbally express what they believe the activity will be or what it was
about.
2. How you plan to use this strategy in your Practicum, Internship, Student Teaching, or in
Your own classroom
a. As a future physical educator I think think out loud can be highly effective in
my setting of teaching. One reason is that the students dont need any materials to
complete this task other than there mind and voice. For example, I can show my
students a new type of game. Then I can ask them to think, pair, share with each
other about what the game will be about. Then after the game, I can tell them to
turn to a person and tell them what they thought of the game and the objectives
for the game
