8 Guru Har Krishan 1661 to 1664 youngest of the Gurus. Installed as Guru at the age of five, nicknamed Bala Pir (child prophet).
9 Guru Teg Bahadar 1665 to 1675 He established the town of Anandpur.Ultimately sacrificed his life to protect Hindu Pandits from forced
conversion to Islam. Executed by Aurangzeb
10 Guru Gobind Singh 1675 to 1708 Created the order ofKhalsa changing the Sikhs into a saint-soldier order with special symbols and
sacraments for protecting themselves.Completed the Granth bestowing upon it title of everlasting
Guru.
