The importance of Lab

safety
Andrew Grell
Goggles
Safety goggles must be worn at all times during a
lab, unless you want to lose one, or both of your
eyes.
Gloves
Gloves should be worn when handling hazardous
materials and sharp objects. This is the only way to
ensure that your hands are safe.
Handling beakers
Make sure to always keep the top of the beaker
pointed away from you and your classmates, and
make sure not to leave a cork on your beaker for too
long.
Disposing of Hazardous
materials
After the lab, cleaning up after your experiment is
very important, make sure to fully rinse all beakers
and clean all lab materials before you put them
away, so they are ready to use for next time.
