    DECA Minutes 9/29/14

    Thanks to all who could attend the DECA Meeting.


    1. Remember, dues and registration need to be in by Friday October 3 (an extension) to get
    the discounted price of $40. If you need make arrangements with me please do (don't let
    money keep you away from DECA).
    2. I will announce officers next week after dues are in.
    3. It looks like the New York trip will be approximately $540 dollars. We will have a parent
    meeting soon.
    4. Sign up for our Remind 101 for DECA by texting @trendeca to:

    5. Senior Gavin Alvedy is taking names for students interested in going to The State
    Leadership Conference in November at the Detroit Mariott. We cannot take a ton of people
    and this trip will be approximately $80. See him if interested.
    6. Also, we need fund raising ideas for New York and the State Competition in March. Keep
    your eyes open for inspiration please.
    7. Finally, we are exploring the idea of a meet and greet in October that would include a
    bonfire/hay-ride at a local orchard. Stay tuned for details.
