Write to Congress Today!
The Social Justice Team will be holding a Bread for the World
Offering of Letters in the atrium after Mass. We write letters by
hand to our representatives and senators to improve the
conditions of the poor and hungry around the world. This year
we will ask our representatives to revise the Foreign Aid Act to
use money more efficiently and take a holistic treatment of
foreign aid. Last year in our Offering of Letters, the UCC had
the highest number of letters out of all Bread for the World
letter campaigns in the nation! Please write a letter to advocate
for the needy and maintain our status as number one advocates!

Thank you to all who donated flowers and palms for all the
Holy Week, Triduum and Easter services. In a special way,
we remember Joseph Paul Montiel. May he, and all our
beloved departed, rest in the promise of new life with the
Risen Lord.

Diane Douglas! Whitney made her profession of faith and was
fully received into the Catholic Church at last Sunday's 11:30
Mass. She has been involved in the RCIA process here at the
UCC since last fall.
