How Delivery Drones Could Monitor Their Own Health
Scientist created a program for drones to monitor peoples health in midflight. Last
December, Amazon decided to have drones deliver their customers packages directly to their
houses. But the drones have to be able to fly through high winds, inclement weather, and
possible errors with the drone itself. A group of researchers from Massachusetts Institute of
Technology, simulated a group of drones to make deliveries in a realistic environment. Half of
the drones had health monitoring systems and delivered the same number of packages with fewer
issues. The other half encountered some issues with fuel and time management (LiveScience).

TRAAP: According to Bing and yahoo search engines, both of them have very interesting info
on drones delivering packages. Bing had one article on, Amazons efforts to test drones for
delivering their products to consumers; while, yahoo had one on, Drones being developed to
carry medical supplies. Bings search engine was better because it gave more information,
article wise and yahoo had more of blogs. Bings article was published Aug. 27, of this year; yes,
this info is relevant to my topic, and the author is Jaikumar Vijayan. This article was to inform
readers about the upcoming technology of America. Yahoos article, Drones Being Developed
to Deliver Medical Aid, Not Bombs, written by Reuters website, but publish on Fox News

Network. The information is accurate, supports my paper, and was intended for readers who
want to use these drones as a quicker way for delivery than trucks.
Based on the research from the library databases, the first journals keywords were:
drone technology. Joness article, Drones the Skys LimitOr Is It, basically pointed out
that drones started from the military now other worldwide stores want to use them. The second
journal came from the science/tech. database that had narrowed the search down to drone for
delivery. From the article, Drones are Lifesavers, the idea for the article was to show how
drones can help in the society; help in urban societies, missing people, and breach smoke in wild
fires. Both articles had similar information as with the internet articles; both sets had quick
access, gave authors, and were within a year. The library journals had more straight to the point
than the internet articles. However, the internet articles had more of a story to show more of an
illustration and detail.
