Problem : UAC control block D-Link Airtel Data card for Domain Standard Users.

Scenario 1 When any domain standard users run Data Card application then its prompts for admin
approval mode as per below screen.

Because UAC control set to Always notify me.

If we are trying to downgrade security to never notify then , its recommended to be as local
administrator.

After adding domain users as local administrator, data card application works fine but security risk are as
follows.
1. User can do any change in his machine system, application and settings
2. As Microsoft, Not recommended to choose this because it may harm your computer.
Fix-1
Add User as local administrator group and set notification to never notify









Fix-2
Create a new OU & and do not apply UAC Policy for this special OU.
Customize user local policy as per below settings.




Test Result-

Above mention tested with data card and successfully passed. As this only block execution of program
notification , So, there is no change in permission for user after this change ( User restriction will not
modify)
