Ding dong. Ding dong.

Bella? Who’s at the door? I’m in the shower. Rosalie shouted.

Ugh. Stupid door.

I opened my eyes slowly and headed towards the door.

“Bella?” a very familiar voice exclaimed.

“Oh my gosh Alice?!” I yelled. Jumping up and down as Alice crushed me. Damn, for
a small girl like her she sure got grip.

“What are you doing here? I mean, not that I don’t want you, it’s just that well, I
haven’t---“I blubbered. Still stunned that Alice is actually here.

Alice laughed lightly. “Well, I’m supposed to not see you until this evening, but I
could not wait to see you again. “Alice said excitedly.” My mother will invite you
later to have dinner with us. Just try to act surprise ok?”

“Alright Alice.” I replied rolling my eyes.

“Ok, I have to go. Oh wait, here.” Alice thrusts a bag on my hands. “Wear them
tonight. “ She added sternly.

“Do I have a choice?” I sighed.

Alice just grinned. “See you later. “

“Bye Alice.” I waved at her.

“Bella?” Who’s that? Rose asked.

“Alice.” I replied grinning.

“Really? That’s great!” Rose said smiling. Alice is my best friend. She used to live
across the street. But she and her siblings went to phoenix to study there. She just
occasionally visits.

Flashback

I played at the swing all by myself when a pixie like girl went to me.

“Hey, what are you doing here all alone? “She asked. “Come join as there.” She
gestured behind her where other kids are arguing. “Oh right. My name is Alice
Cullen. Mommy taught me to introduce myself to new people.” Alice said proudly.

“Um, hi. I’m Bella, Bella Swan.” I said.

“Ok! Everybody this is Bella. Bella, this is everybody.” Alice yelled.

A little bronzed- haired boy said. “Hi, I’m Edward. Alice’s twin brother. This is
Emmett, our older brother.”

“Enough about the introductions. We’re going to… Do a wedding play!” Alice said
excitedly.

“Ok, ok. I’ll be the bridesmaid, Bella, you’ll be the bride. Edward you’ll be the priest
and Emmett the groom”. Alice said in one breath.

Alice began humming the bridal march, while walking the ‘aisle’.” Bella, you’re
next.” Alice hissed at me. I hurried up.

“Wait, Emmett let’s switch places.” Edward interrupts. When Emmett’s about to
take my hand.

“Hmm. You’re right. Emmett switch places. “Alice said after thinking deeply.

“Okay.” Emmett cleared his throat and began reading a piece of paper Alice gave
him.

“Bella, wilt thou take this man to be thy wedded husband?” Emmet asks raising his
eyebrows at every word.

“I will.” I said. His green eyes boring into mine. Forgetting for a moment that this is
just some stupid play.

“Edward?”

“I will.” Edward said slipping a ring to my finger.

End of flash back

I sighed. Touching the ring. I still wipe the ring every morning at exactly 7 in the
morning to avoid it causing rusts. I know, it’s ridiculous. I wonder how Edward is
right now. Stop thinking about him Bella. I thought sternly. I had a teeny weeny
crush on Edward. Oh sod it, I’m in love with Edward Cullen since the moment I saw
him.

“Bella? Are you done? We’re going to the Cullen’s now.” Rose asked.

Edward’s P.O.V

“Tanya, I love you. I know you don’t exactly feel that way but---“I said seriously. Not
minding that Emmet is looking at me with pained expression.

“Edward, I’m sorry. But you know that I love your brother Emmett. Tanya said
taking my hands.
“Whatever.” I said angrily. Removing my hands from her. Walking back to my car.

“Jake? Meet me at the bar. Now.”I said hastily.

(Later at the bar...)

“Wow man, you got dumped by a girl. “Jake Laughed.

“Look, I didn’t ask you to go here to laugh at me.” I said annoyed. Taking a swig of
beer.

“Ok, ok I got it.” Jake said after a moment.

“What?” I asked, looking up.

“Make a girl fall in love with you. Play with her a little.” Jake rolled his eyes. “That
ought to make you forget about that Tanya.” He sneered.

“Huh. I never thought it about that way. I guess you’re right.”

Bella’s P.O.V

Emmett approached me and picked me up for one of his bone-crushing hugs.

“can’t ----breathe.” I gasped.

“Good to see you to Bella.” Emmet grinned. Ruffling my hair.

“Nice to see you again Bella.” Esme, Alice’s mom said softly behind me. Hugging
me.

“You to Esme.” I replied smiling. It’s been awhile seen I’ve been here. Muted voices
can be heard outside.

“What? Look I’ve just been here okay?” An exasperated voice said.

“All that I’m saying is you haven’t seen her for years.” Alice simply said. Coming
inside with Edward looking beautiful as ever following her. My eyes widened at the
sight of him.

Edward, you do remember Bella right? Alice asked.

“Of course. hello Bella.” Edward said. Grinning crookedly at me.

Edward’s P.O.V.
Hmm... Get a new girl. I thought deeply. Jake’s might be on to something this time.
I mean it’s not that hard to get a new girl. Who wouldn’t fall in love with me? The
quarterback of the football team, the most coveted guy in school. The---

“Edward Cullen! You better get your ass over here now.” Alice shouted.

“Just a minute Alice.” I rolled my eyes.

“What do you mean wait a minute?! Bella’s already here like an hour ago.” Alice
yelled. Almost bursting a vein.

“What? Look I’ve just been here okay?” I said exasperatedly.

“All that I’m saying is you haven’t seen her for years.” Alice simply said. She walked
out of the room and I followed her. I stifled a gasp at the sight of the girl in front of
me. I thought Bella’s going to be here. Are we having another guest?

“Edward, you do remember Bella right?” Alice asked. This is Bella?! You’ve got to be
kidding me. Bella, the girl who I tease continually because of her clumsiness? This is
she? I mean she was pretty and all back then. But this girl is freaking gorgeous.

Of course. Hello Bella. I grinned. She’s the perfect candidate for my new girlfriend.
