-The religions that existed in Yugoslavia before the war included Serbs, muslims,
and croatians. They all wanted control.

2. Why was Tito important in Yugoslavia?
- He led the country from 1945 to 1980 and he held the country together.

3. What were Milosevics goals in Yugoslavia?
-Milosevics goal was to get rid of all the ethnic groups of Yugoslavia.

4. Who did Serbian nationalists target in the Bosnian genocide?
-They targeted the other ethnicities.

5. What happened in Srebrenica?
-This was a massacre by serb forces on 7,000 Bosniak men.


6. What does this incident suggestion about European leadership and the role of the
UN?
-The UN needs to do a better job controlling wars and conflicts. They need to
address problems long before they get out of hand and lead to another massacre
such as the one in Srebrenica.

-The three members of the war signed a peace treaty in 1995.

-Using military power to rid an ethnic group from a country.

-Bosnia was mostly consisted of Serbs, muslims, and Croatians.
