1,2) This article is about the new advances the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus has to offer for
the consumers. In the beginning of the article its starts talking about the new display that it has
on both phones, the iPhone 6 has a 4.7 Retina display as well as a 1334x750 resolution; as well
as the iPhone 6 plus which as a 5.5 Retina display and a 1920x1080 resolution, which are both
big advances from the other iPhones. It also begins to talk about the better battery life it has over
the other iPhones as well as a better CPU power which is supposed to be 50 times better than the
first generation iPhone and 50 times better than the iPhone 5s and 5c. With all these advances its
supposed to have better graphics than the other iPhones as well as a new landscape mode which
can be used since it has a bigger screen. In conclusion this article is mainly talking about the new
advances this phone has over the previous iPhones.
3.) The two different search engines I used were Bing and Yahoo. In my opinion I believe the
better search engine would have to between the two would be Bing. Bing to me looks easier to
understand and has a lot more credible sources than Yahoo does. Also Bing had found way more
sites on the topic I searched than Yahoo did.
4.) The new article have looked up was written on September 21, 2014, and it has not been
updated since the last time uploaded; since it was written three days ago. This article however
does relate to my topic because it talks about the new advances the iPhone has to the previous
iPhones. It also starts comparing the new iPhone to other android devices that has come out in
the past year. The author of this article is Will Shanklin according to the website Will seems like
he qualified to write on this topic since he is Gizmag's Mobile Tech Editor, and has been part of
the team since 2012. Also has a Master's degree from U.C. Irvine and a Bachelor's from West
Virginia University. This article does seem trustworthy since it has supporting evidence through
this article. Even though it might have a couple bias opinions on certain things this article is
meant to inform the consumers on what the new iPhone has to offer.
5.) I used the key words Mobile technology for the search engines for the CCBC library
6.) When comparing the Internet articles to the CCBC library journals I believe the internet
sources are a lot easier to use and more understandable because its not as confusing as with all
the sources like the journals. While looking at it in timeliness it was a lot faster and less
complicated to use the internet sources rather than the journals. However for the most credible
sources the journals from the CCBC database would be a lot better because they would be a lot
more accurate than the internet sources.
