The scan found prominence of the cortical sulci but no evidence of focal or diffuse parenchymal disease and no space occupying lesions. The cerebellum, brainstem, ventricles and cisterns all appeared normal. Clinical correlation is necessary.

    PATIENTS NAME : MRS SHAKUN 50YRS

    CT STUDY OF HEAD
    Infratentorial
    Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.
    Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.
    Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.
    Supratentorial
    Cortical sulci are prominent.
    Both the cerebral hemisphere show normal gray and white matter differentiation.
    Basal cisterns are seen normally.
    Third and both lateral ventricles are seen normally.
    No midline shift is seen.
    OPINION:
    CORTICAL SULCI PROMINENCE.
    NO EVIDENCE SUGGESTIVE OF AN FOCAL ! DIFFUSE PARENC"MAL
    DISEASE OR AN SPACE OCCUPING LESION IS IDENTIFIED.

    Clinical correlation is necessary
