Matilda Summary By Darrion

Dear Mr Thomas and Ms Kira,

Have you ever met a genius before? Well this child can outsmart anyone
by a million. Matilda Wormwood is one of this kind, she is a 5 year old
girl living in England attending a school in the area with the strict head
mistress Miss Trunchbull. In this book, Matilda is known to outsmart a lot
of the books characters. She is also known to move things with her
mind! Written by the great and hilarious Rohl Dahl, I would like to share
a bit of the story.

Even her parents dont know of her extraordinary powers. Her school
teacher Ms Honey is the only one in the story to know about her powers.
Matilda is treated at home like a animal. They call her rude names and
calling her a twit. Matilda is not to be underestimated, she is even
known to tip a glass of water with a newt in it on the head mistress. Just
starting in her new school, Matilda has just discovered the horrors of
Miss Trunchbull remain.

There are three main characters of the story. Our young small Matilda,
the villainous new school head teacher Ms Trunchbull and Matildas
warm hearted teacher Ms Honey. Miss Trunchbull is known to hate
children. She tends to throw them out of the window of lock them up in
her choky. She is the villain of the story while Ms Honey tends to be
kind to the children and Matilda. They become good friends but Matilda
nds a dark secret kept inside her: But my aunt produced a piece of
paper supposedly written by my father saying that he leaves the house
to his sister-in-law in return for his kindness in looking after me. I am
certain that it was forgery. But no one can prove it. Couldnt you try?
Matilda said. Couldnt you hire a good lawyer and make a ght of it. I
dont have money to do that, said Ms Honey. And you must remember
that this aunt of mine is a respected gure of this community. She has a
lot of inuence. Who is she? Matilda asked. Ms Honey hesitated for a
moment. Then she said softly, Miss Trunchbull. No need to worry I
wont give away the ending of what our hero Matilda did to this villainous
Miss Trunchbull.

I really liked how Ms Honey, Matildas school teacher, becomes friends
with Matilda. They really become good friends and help each other in
the story. It was really funny when Matilda helped Ms Honey frighten
Miss Trunchbull to death and how she faints and turns totally white.
Even though Miss Trunchbull is the villain, she sometimes can make
quite funny endings. When she forces Bogtrotter a boy who ate her
cake, to eat a whole big gigantic one!

My favourite part of the book is when Matilda scares Miss Trunchbull to
death. She faints and falls to the ground. Her face was white as snow,
the description by Rohl Dahl is totally hilarious while the illustrations by
Quentin Blake gives you a scene to imagine. Im not going to tell you the
whole scene but the chapter is called The Third Miracle.

If you really like touching endings, funny and hilarious endings. Your in
luck, because this is the right book for you.

Best Regards,
Darrion
