Gross Domestic Product (GDP)


A differential equation expresses the rate of change of the present state as a function of the present
state. An example of this is the rate of change of GDP over time. Suppose x(t) is the state of the GDP at
time t, then the rate of change of GDP is proportional to the present GDP.
