IPSF is calling for interested members to run for the positions in the IPSF EMRO RWG 2014-15.The IPSF Regional Office is a functional extension of the IPSF Executive structured by elected and/appointed pharmacy students and recent graduates from IPSF member countries of a specific IPSF region, forming Regional Working Group. Its mission shall be to advance and support the aims and objectives of the Federation at regional level.If you are interested in a particular position listed here, you should contact the relevant IPSF Regional Working Group member (contact below) before the deadline for applications in order to get acquainted with the responsibilities you will handle.Please submit your nomination form to secretary@emro.ipsf.org no later than Sunday the 19th of October 11:59PM GMT+0 Regional Projects Officer (RPO) As the Regional Projects Officer, you are responsible for coordinating the implementation of IPSF projects at the Regional level. Thus you will be required to work closely with the relevant IPSF. The Regional Project Officer will also have to continue activities implemented by previous Regional Project Officers.The Regional Projects Officer focuses on IPSF projects in the region; these may include Public Health, Professional Development and Pharmacy Education. In doing so, the Regional Projects Officer will also be responsible for promotion of the approved projects and to work closely with the Regions RMPO to develop appropriate promotional material. The Regional Projects Officer will be required to have some degree of communication with member countries in the promotion and implementation of IPSF projects at the national level.The Regional Projects Officer will be responsible for the promotion and implementation of the IPSF EMRO Focus Project, as decided by the Regional Assembly.Because of the variety of projects that the Regional Projects Officer may be involved with, and the many people that they have to cooperate closely with, it is important for the Regional Projects Officer to have impeccable communication skills, time management and organization. Having a creative streak would also be beneficial for the Regional Projects Officer. To meet the responsibilities of a Regional Projects Officer, approximately 10-15 hours per week is required.
