Final Song choice explained and Permission for songs

Kwabs Walk

We had a list of different artists and song choices to choose from that we could use in our
music video. The choices were; Awolnation Sail, Fort Minor Remember the name, X
Ambassadors Jungle and Kwabs Walk.
However we emailed record labels and managers for permission to use their song in our
music video (we stated in the email that we would not use the song for commercial use and
only used for educational uses only), but we had no reply from any of them. However when
we listened to Kwabs and his song Walk, it created a lot of ideas for me and my partner for
the music video. Our original idea was to create a music video with a sport theme in mind.
With song used on the worlds biggest console football game, Fifa 15, the song definitely
suited a sports based music video.






















Why I was inspired to use this song in my Music Video

I was originally inspired by the The game before the game by Beats by Dre. The
video included Beats ambassadors and the worlds best football players in honour of
the 2014 Brazil world cup. The song suited the style of the aspects that was included
in the music video. The song talks about ups and downs, pressure and support.

The first time I heard this song was in the new Electronic Arts, Fifa 15. The song is
one of the main soundtracks that plays on repeat when not in match time.

This is the first verse of Walk, the lyrics start of
very powerful and explains the pressure hes
under and needs to ease his mind before hes
pinned down by those he needs him.
I feel as though the opening verse can help start
a storyline for a character/characters and their
problems.
