If your child was born with a how-to manual, you may safely disregard this program.
However, if you are searching for a way to understand your childs mental, emotional, social
and spiritual development in order to understand how you can have the most loving and
realistic parent/child relationship, this Extended Lighthouse Parent Program is what youve
been looking for! Through close examination of your family of origin parenting influences you
can begin the process of finding your very own parenting practices that will work for you and
your children.

This PROCESS ORIENTED, 8-week
Extended Lighthouse Parent Program
will help parents to:
o Learn about brain development throughout their
childs different ages and stages (0-19 yrs.)
o Identify what a healthy and loving parent/child
attachment looks like
o Familiarize themselves with the effect of this brain
development on the family, relationship and
parent/child interactions
o Identify their own multigenerational and personal
behaviour patterns and beliefs to see how they
impact their current parenting practices
o Recognize personal societal, familial and political
barriers to a parenting ideal
o Create an avenue for healthy personal and
environmental change in the parent/child
relationship where it is needed
o Feel supported in their current proactive parenting
practices
o Recognize personal and community resources upon
which they can draw for additional education and
support
o Learn how they can be the best parent they know
how to be using their inner wisdom as a guide
