What You Need to Know About

EBOLA
Our risk of exposure in Minnesota is extremely LOW

What is Wright County Public Health doing to monitor the Ebola risk?

Wright County Public Health is
in communication with federal,
state and local health partners.
Together, we are monitoring
the risk of Ebola in Minnesota.

Public Health has an All Hazard
Response and Recovery Plan. This
plan outlines protocols and
guidance to help public health and
our partners respond to a public
health incident efficiently and
effectively. This plan includes
strategies to respond to infectious
diseases such as Ebola.

Public health staff respond to
small scale infectious disease
incidents regularly. We are well
trained and familiar with the
process. Staff also practices
strategies to respond to large
infectious disease incidents.

ONLY those who
have observable
symptoms of
Ebola can spread
Ebola to others.

Ebola is spread
through direct
contact with
blood, vomit,
diarrhea, urine or
other bodily
fluids of a person
with Ebola or of a
person who has
died from Ebola.

Ebola is not
spread through
water, air or
food.
