Cataract intervention programmes maynot give the good
results with out public participation. Ophthalmologist has an
important role for increasing it. We develope integrated Outreach
Eye Camps in Bandung District rural area. Through this Eye
Camps we give simple eye care sevices and counselling about
blindness. The main target of this programmes is increasing
public awareness about blindness and increasing the number of
cataract patients who needs surgery.

The pupil is a kinetic indicator of both ocular motor
function and the special sensory apparatus the retina
which it serves. The neural mechanisms that controls
pupils si!e and reactivity are highly comple" yet they
may be sampled and evaluated by simple clinical
procedures. #upillary function depends on the integrity
of the structures along the course of the pupillomotor
