Description of Alleged Claim:
The claimant, State Farm Insurance, as subrogee for its insured, Ilana Knopf, seeks compensation for repairs made to Ms. Knopfs motor vehicle which was struck while parked on Edison Avenue, Medford when a DPW sander backed into the vehicle damaging the hood and front end. The accident occurred on December 30, 2012. The total amount expended by Safety Insurance for repairs to the vehicle was $3,998.94. Ms. Knopf expended $500.00 to repair the vehicle that represents the deductible on her policy with State Farm The case was settled prior to trial. The necessary Releases have been obtained from the claimant.
