GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Print the template on cardstock.

2. Cut on the solid lines (except for the
lines inside the handle piece which
outline the leather straps).
3. Make a mountain fold on the dashed
lines. Before folding, trace lightly along
the folds with a ruler and an empty pen
or dull exacto type knife for cleaner, more
angular folds.
4. Glue sparingly at the white flaps.
5. Assemble as indicated by the letters.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. For best results, gently roll the
handle piece around a cylindrical
object before gluing to itself (a broom
handle works well)
2. The strap piece is glued to itself twice.
Fold as indicated by the mountain
fold line, glue and then trim away any
white paper left showing. Loop the strap
and glue the letter "N's" together.

3. After rolling and gluing the handle, attach
strap flap "A" to the inside face of the
handle where indicated before gluing the
cap on the end of the handle.
4. The cut out in the hammer head may need
to be enlarged to accommodate the handle
depending on how accurately the model is
constructed.
