ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

All your work should be your own. You should avoid behaviors that put the
integrity of your work into question. Do not copy homework or lab results.
Do not share files or co-write lab reports. You may discuss the
interpretations of an experiment with another student, but each student
should write his/her own lab report. Do not discuss test, quiz or exam
questions with other students. Information from outside sources must be
properly cited when used in a lab report or presentation.

During tests, exams, and quizzes, please sit in every other row. Avoid
looking at other students' work. Use only your calculator; you may not share
a calculator with someone else. Calculators may not be pre-programmed
with formulas. Please use the bathroom either before or after. All papers,
books, and study guides must be fully stowed away in your book bag. If you
must get up from your seat, please cover your work. Cell phones must be off
and put away in a bag, not in a pocket. Speak with the teacher ahead of time,
if you qualify for extended time.
By following these guidelines, there should be no question about the
integrity of your work, allowing you and your teacher to be proud of your
accomplishments. Otherwise, your work may be brought to the Director of
Studies and ultimately before the Discipline Committee. Academic
Probation is part of the standard response to Academic Dishonesty.
