The writing contest successfully concluded on 10/11. All entries were judged by three judges. The award ceremony is
held on 11/1 at school. The contest results are listed in the above Chinese section.

SDCCA Learning Center (9888 Carroll Centre Road, Suite 122, San Diego, CA 92126) will host a Chinese Art
Exhibition, 10/25-11/1 (10am -4pm daily). The exhibition will include Chinese calligraphy and brush painting, the
winners paper from the writing contest at NCCS and engraved gourds. Several SDCCA members will also display their
outstanding works. All the teachers, students and parents are invited to this event. Free admission.
Correction! The online registration for the Speech Contest & Impromptu Speech Contest will start on 11/15.
The Storytelling Contest will take place in each classroom on 11/15. Please check with your teacher for details and
help your student to prepare in advance.
