Seniors Helping Seniors
The organizations Chairwoman Kiran Yocom and President and CEO Philip Yocom created Seniors Helping Seniors in 1998. While living in India, Kiran worked for Mother Theresa for 14 years and after moving to America she wanted to continue her charity work. Her personal mission and the overall mission of the company is to care for those who are unable to care for themselves. The company Seniors Helping Seniors is a unique homecare service that pairs up seniors who are willing to work with seniors who are in of need help. The main concept of the company is to have seniors help each other with the aging process that they are both going through and in return receive equal benefit from one another. The services offered include cooking, light housekeeping, companionship, personal grooming and dressing, shopping, doctor visits, transportation, yard work, mobility assistance, house maintenance, overnight stays, long-distance check-ins, respite care and dementia care. Seniors Helping Seniors is an expanding franchise that has multiple locations around the United States. ###
