JOURNEY
The founder of Divyang First Foundation is a
mother who had her first child with hearing
impairment. She dedicated herself completely
for nine years, providing speech therapy to her
son, and with the help of BTE technology, her
son is now able to listen and speak. She was
determined to provide her son with the best
possible care, and her hard work and
dedication paid off. However, her journey did
not end there. She gave birth to a second child
who was suffering from cerebral palsy.
This changed her life completely and became
the driving force behind the creation of the
Divyang First Foundation.
Her experience as a mother of a child with
disabilities gave her a unique perspective on the
challenges faced by people with disabilities in
society. She saw firsthand the lack of support
and resources available to people with
disabilities, and she was determined to do
something about it.

Women's 2023
Day
On March 8th, 2023, Divyang First Foundation organized a Women's Day event for
senior citizens in the community. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and
provide support for the women in our community, particularly those who are elderly
and may be facing unique challenges.
The event was held at a local community center and was attended by approximately
50 women. Our team had prepared a number of activities and resources for the
women, including informational sessions on health and wellness, financial planning,
and community resources.
One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of meals and roses to each of
the women in attendance. For many of these women, this was a special treat that
brought a smile to their faces and helped them to feel valued and appreciated.
Throughout the event, our team engaged with the women, listening to their stories
and providing encouragement and support. Many of the women shared their
experiences of feeling isolated or unsupported in their daily lives, and our team was

timing of the water supply, which was causing inconvenience to the residents.
The foundation immediately brought this issue to the attention of the concerned
department. The department acted promptly and provided a solution to the
problem. The timing of water supply was adjusted, and the frequency of water
supply was increased, which resulted in an uninterrupted and adequate water
supply to the residents. The foundation's efforts led to a positive impact on the
lives of the residents, who no longer had to struggle with water shortages.
Complaint against a poultry farm Another complaint was registered with the
foundation regarding a poultry farm that had been installed in the area. The
farm was creating a disturbance with the sounds of chickens all day long, and
other disturbances were being created with that farm. The foundation took
action and reached out to the concerned authorities to address the issue. The
authorities inspected the farm and found that it was causing pollution and noise
disturbance. They ordered the farm to take necessary measures to minimize noise
and pollution. The farm management took steps to address the issues, and the
situation improved. The residents were no longer disturbed by the noise and

camp at the Okhla Industrial Area with the aim of
assisting laborers in obtaining their labor cards. The
camp aimed to facilitate the submission of labor card
applications for 29 labor camps in the area.

labor cards and the benefits associated with them.
2. Assist laborers in filling out the necessary application
forms for labor cards.
