Thousands of shining emeralds that graces the azure, glittering ocean
Beautiful faunas that guards the standing tall and proud floras
And hundreds of different cultures that has no comparison

Some of us may not born there
Some of us may rarely stand on its soil
Some of us may be distant from the islands
But nevertheless, thats where we came from
We speak its language. We embrace its culture. We learn its history. We pay our respects to its fallen

A distance of seven thousand three hundred and thirty seven kilometers leaves us apart from our
beloved capital city, yet we feel like were there every time we think about it
A time difference of four hours leaves us with some complications, yet not a second goes by without us
being sure of our identity as a proud Indonesian
Different culture, lifestyle, and language requires us to adapt in an alien ground, yet we joyfully sing our
folks songs, dance our traditional dances and indulge in our delicious dishes
Because no matter the obstacle we face, it wont be enough to turn our heads away from Nusantara

News of political corruption make the headline on a regular basis. Rape, vandalism, child molestation,
and kidnapping never left their positions from daily newspapers front page. Natural disasters are a
tragedy that happens so often. Those sad truths, negative news, and endless deaths, yet the words that
leaves our hopeful mouths are
