CREDITS

EXT. - 7 KINGS PARK PATHWAY- DAYTIME

FAITH, aged 20, is a brunette young woman with blue eyes.
She enters the park from left and walks down the path
with a notebook and pen in her hand, whilst watching her
surroundings. She sees a bench with a young man LUKE(21)
sat on, who also has dark hair and blue eyes. He is
reading a book. FAITH stops there to rest her bag down,
and to get something out of her bag. An item of hers then
drops and he makes her aware of the dropped object by
picking it up for her, he then smirks and continues
reading. She looks up at him and thanks him, before
noticing him reading an interesting book. She makes an
enthusiastic comment about the book with a smile on her
face. He looks up and smiles back, noticing her properly
for the first time, he then smiles again as he likes
what he sees. LUKE points his hand out to offer FAITH a
seat beside him on the bench. She sits down and they both
begin to talk and laugh. He asks for the notebook by
extending his hand, which she accepts and passes it over,
and he then writes down his number.


FAITH (Voiceover)
Do you ever wonder what it means to have lived a
fulfilled life?

CUT TO

INT. LONDON BRIDGE- DAYTIME

FAITH arrives and LUKE has a gift for her; a book. She
loves it and gives him a cuddle to show her appreciation.


FAITH (Voiceover)
Lust drove me to love
I thought love would balance me
Defeat my insecurities
Make me whole, at peace

EXT. CANARY WHARF- DAYTIME

FAITH and LUKE are on a romantic walk, they join hands
and walk side by side and talk about things in common.
They stare into each others eyes. He kisses her on the
cheek.

FAITH (Voiceover)
In the beginning it wasnt really anything he said or
did, it was the feeling that came along with it.
Crazy thing is I dont know if Im ever going to feel
that way again, but maybe I shouldnt...



CUT TO

EXT. HYDE PARK- DAYTIME

At a picnic they laugh. FAITH reads him a story from a
book as he smiles at her in owe.

CUT TO

INT. - THEIR LIVING ROOM SOFA- NIGHTIME

LUKE takes out a pair of house keys from his pocket.
FAITH looks at the keys in surprise and grins. LUKE and
FAITH cuddle on the sofa with takeaway on the coffee
table and a movie on TV.


FAITH (Voiceover)
I Suppose you may think Im in hell, buried under the
deluded decisions to forgive him, but understand that
there were also moments of love and laughter
I am not what youve heard and seen before
But instead an example of the vision you impair
I am more than my own reflection, a tainted shadow or
blurred image instead, the figure you dare to encounter

INT. - THEIR DINING TABLE- DAYTIME

FAITH is smiling as she is writing in her notebook.

INT. THEIR LIVING ROOM- AFTERNOON

She comes back home and enters the door in her work
clothing with good news. She jumps up and down with
excitement as she sees Luke appear from the living room.

CUT TO

EXT. NEAR THE LONDON EYE- DAYTIME

LUKE surprises FAITH with a necklace. Written on the box
is To the best writer and poet. Congratulations on your
promotion baby. She looks delighted and gives him a
kiss. They then look out at the view holding hands.

CUT TO

INT. THEIR LIVING ROOM- NIGHTIME

FAITH is on her sofa typing chapter one on her computer
with grin on face. LUKE kisses her goodnight on her
forehead and goes upstairs.


FAITH (Voiceover)
Lost, love drove me a stray
Its like the world revolves yet i stand still
And whos to save the lost souls?
Maybe we dont know we need saving
My pulse is a tension strained by emotions,
A dependency that creates the rate, the pulsing speed of
my heartbeat
It races at the touch of his soft hand, and at the clench
of his fist
Up and down, we live on our own rollercoaster

CUT TO
INT. BATHROOM- MORNING

FAITH tries on new work clothing in the mirror in front
of LUKE, she sees him in the reflection and smiles. He
reluctantly smiles back as she fixes her hair. She turns
to face him and leave the bathroom, and as she reaches
the doorway he fixes her blouse. She kisses him on the
cheek, takes her bag from the floor and leaves. He
watches her go, then goes in the cupboard and has a cup
of Vodka.

EXT. LEISTER SQUARE THE VUE- AFTERNOON

FAITH is walking with Luke as they exit the cinema. She
gets a message on her phone and takes it out to look.
LUKE behaves jealously, peering over her shoulder and
scanning through as she replies. FAITH shrugs it off by
giving him a reassuring kiss.



CUT TO

INT. THEIR BATHROOM- AFTERNOON

FAITH opens the bathroom door and shows LUKE a positive
pregnancy test. LUKE has his arms crossed and smiles very
faintly.

CUT TO

INT. - THEIR BEDROOM- NIGHTIME

They both lie on their bed. FAITH is snuggled up next to
LUKE with a grin, she places her hand on her belly and
smiles.


FAITH (Voiceover)
You never know whats coming round the corner until
youve seen it, and its seen you
Is it something deeper?


CUT TO

INT. - THEIR BEDROOM MORNING

FAITH wakes up with a pain in her stomach and turns for
LUKES comfort but LUKE is not in bed. The clock shows
5:47am. She looks away and lies back down to sleep.

CUT TO

EXT. INFRONT OF LONDON EYE- DAYTIME

FAITH and LUKE are arguing on the street. He grabs her
arm and tells her to walk on in silence. FAITH turns to
apologise, he reluctantly allows her to give him a hug.

FAITH (Voiceover)
Dependency? What am I fighting for?
Nourishment? I need love but it isnt easy
Defeated, I guess love made me needy
He told me he needs me, but my wounds are the only proof
of affection
My makeup shelters the scattered truths of love
My conscience, a diary

CUT TO

INT. THEIR DINING ROOM- AFTERNOON

LUKE comes home with a small cardboard box with some
office objects inside. He loosens his tie in stress and
drinks some more Vodka. FAITH shakes her head and walks
out of the room.

CUT TO

INT.- THEIR BEDROOM- AFTERNOON

FAITH enters their bedroom with a look of anger across
her face. She sees LUKE still asleep in bed. She looks at
the alarm that shows 14:18pm. FAITH nods her head and
shouts something at him, before placing her first
pregnancy scan beside his bed stand. When FAITH leaves
the room, LUKE slowly lifts his head out of his pillow,
acknowledges the photo and drops his head back to
continue sleeping.

INT. THEIR DINING ROOM- DAYTIME

FAITH is at the table with a pen in her hand her note
book in front of her. She looks down in disappointment
and drops her pen.


CUT TO

INT.- THEIR LIVING ROOM- NIGHTIME

FAITH and LUKE are watching a program, and she kisses his
cheek to improve the mood. LUKE keeps his eyes on the TV,
slightly moving his face away from her. FAITH tries to
comfort him by stroking his thigh, but doesnt notice the
glass of vodka in his hand and the bottle is hidden by
his side. She knocks it with her hand and the vodka
spills onto his lap. LUKE closes his eyes in a cheeky

manner and begins to smile. FAITH begins to laugh and
apologise. Before she can get up to grab a cloth, LUKEs
smile fades, and he whacks her across the face with his
back hand so she falls off the sofa. He stares at her in
disbelief as FAITH slowly stands in shock with her hand
on her cheek and belly. LUKE gets up and apologises while
grabbing her arm but FAITH shoves him off and walks out.


CUT TO

INT.- THEIR BATHROOM- MORNING

FAITH covers the bruise with makeup before she leaves for
work. LUKE is asleep in bed. She looks at him in disgust
before grabbing her coat and walking out.

CUT TO

INT.- STREET- DAYTIME

FAITH has a pain in her belly and grabs her stomach. She
stops and reaches to get her phone out, she looks at
LUKEs number and puts her phone away. She continues to
walk slowly with her hand on her belly.

CUT TO

INT.- DOCTORS ROOM- DAYTIME

The Dr informs FAITH with some bad news. FAITH does not
respond.

FAITH (Voiceover)
Can my soul be restored, revived?
I think when its all over it just comes back in flashes
you know, its like a collide scope of memories, and it
just all comes back...
Who am I, if we are not a shared identity?

CUT TO

INT. LIVING ROOM- AFTERNOON

FAITH returns home and breaks down, crying in front of
LUKE before giving him some bad news. He consoles her as
she sits on the floor, by rubbing her back. FAITH is
holding the pregnancy scan tightly in her hand. FAITH
suddenly snaps and shoves him off her in anger. She then
holds up the baby scan in his face, mouthing to him
your fault!. He then furiously grabs a book from the

counter and throws it at her. She dodges the book. She
gets up to run but he approaches her quickly with his
hands in a fist and grabs her hair, pulling her back. He
punches her so she falls to the ground. He pins her down
with his legs on either side of her and begins to
strangle her. FAITH fights for air, but just before she
stops breathing


CUT TO
*rewind of sequence until the first fragment where they
first meet*


FAITH (Voiceover)
But what if you could go back to that moment, right to
the beginning where your life was about to change, and
erase everything youve ever loved, every memory you ever
made because of that moment, that one person, your whole
world. What if you could change the story in a split
second decision?...would you?



EXT. 7 KINGS PARK BENCH- DAYTIME

CUT TO

LUKE points his hand out to offer FAITH a seat beside him
on the bench.

END
