LEFT: The referees for the game, Jamie (Woody) Mahoney (lef) and Marc (Fredrick) Tanner, go through diferent rituals before hitng the ice. Jamie prefers to relax and catch up on all the news by reading the Warkworth Journal. Marc, who is a self ftness buf, does a series of leg stretches to help prevent any potental groin injuries. Jack Maynes (lef) got all gussied up for the dance and ended up winning the Funniest Costume category. With Mrs. Maynes is Cheryl Pedersen. Music for the evening was supplied by local recording artsts RUFBUKL, who showed up appropriately dressed for the occasion. Rick and Marg Greenly arrive in costume ready for a night of fun and frivolity. Penny (lef) and Brian Tackaberry won Most Original prize for their Muppet characters Bunsen and Beaker. Batman (alias Brian Taylor) shows up sportng a GM Oshawa Car Assembly jacket instead of his Batsuit. Linda Weatherup (top) and Sandy Jones (right) came dressed as walking advertsements for Pro Bass Shop, while Cheryl Pedersen is unaware of their shenanigans. Elise Lewis leans in real close to test out the Whoopee Cushion, much to the amusement of husband Jay. Anyone atending the dance dressed as Robert (Ots Flute) Nelson got in free. This, of course, had Robert Nelson (above) thinking he should- nt have to pay to get in. Organizers disagreed, telling him to dust of his wallet and fork over the measly fve bucks admission fee. He fnally relented, albeit grudgingly. PHOTOS COURTESY OF SHERRY HORNE AND SHELLEY PETERSON Good times and plenty of laughs had by all as Warkworth Legion hosts Halloween dance on Friday night.
