11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Grade Center Training V125 Kight Center, Main Campus As the end of the semester nears, students will be expecting accurate grading and results to be recorded in the Grade Center In this session you will: Develop Categories and learn to manage columns in the Grade Center Distinguish best practices in deploying the Grade Center in your course. Apply use of Needs Grading, Rubrics, Safe Assign, and Inline Grading 10:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. River Support and ReachOut V125 Kight Center, Main Campus As a faculty member, you are the most influential person with whom students interact. For that reason, you are the best person to recognize when a student is experiencing academic or personal difficulties. We encourage you to ReachOut! Sending a ReachOut is a way to get assistance for a student who is exhibiting behaviors detrimental to his or her success from the assigned advisor. Your awareness of and timely response to potential academic problems is the foundation of our RiverSupport System.
