Smithsonian Networks and 1989 Baylor journalism

graduate, presented his documentary Te Day Ken-
nedy Died to Baylor faculty
and students Nov. 14, 2014.
Friday marks 50 years since
the assassination of President
John F. Kennedy. President
Kennedys death has been the
subject of much investigation,
discussion and obsession.
It is a story that will not go
away. It has a lot of resonance
in Texas - specifcally Dal-

Lariat, said to the audience in Kayser Auditorium.
Te Smithsonian Channel pays tribute to the 50
th

anniversary of President Kennedys death through
its new documentary, executively produced by Poe,
Te Day Kennedy Died. Te new two-hour docu-
mentary is narrated by Oscar-winning actor Kevin
Spacey, and gives a minute-by-minute story of the
death of President Kennedy through rarely seen flm,
photographs and eyewit-
ness accounts who relive
the tragic events that took
place that day in Dallas.
Te Day Kennedy
Died explores the mo-
ments through the eyes
of people who were there
and the day of President
Kennedys death. Lee
Harvey Oswalds neigh-
bor and workmate at the
Texas School Book Depository, Buell Frazier, recalls
driving Oswald to work that morning and asking
him about a mysterious wrapped package in the
backseat, which Oswald claimed were curtain rods.
