    SUBSTANCE ABUSE POLICY



    Canterbury is a drug free workplace. Therefore, the manufacture, distribution, sale, use or
    possession of illegal drugs, as well as the misuse of legal drugs while on the job is strictly
    prohibited and constitutes grounds for immediate discharge.
    Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, except prescription drugs properly used by staff
    members under a physician's care, is also prohibited.
    Smoking or chewing tobacco anywhere on campus by staff or students is prohibited.
