Hello Parents,

My name is Naomi Sanford and I have the pleasure of being your childs
second grade teacher this year! This will be my first year teaching at Little Creek
Elementary School. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. I served in the United
States Army for 9 years and relocated to Killeen in 2001. I received my BA in
Social Work from Texas A&M University-Central Texas with a concentration in
children and families.
I have always had a passion to educate our youth and believe that I can
successfully put into practice the concepts and skills I have learned as a social work
generalist. I have experience as a Teachers Aide and Parent Liaison at King
Elementary School. During this time, I developed a great love for children and the
educational journey. I look forward to sharing what I have learned and experienced
over the past 38 years. This year I will be celebrating 17 years of marriage with
my wonderful and supportive husband. We have a very busy and interesting six
year-old who loves to challenge us to be our best.
Get ready for an exciting and fascinating journey! My goal for your child is to
learn the necessary skills to develop into a great citizen of our community who will
make invaluable contributions for years to come. As your child transitions to the
second grade, they will need your support so please feel free to become involved and
watch the magic of learning take place!
