Layout Questionnaire

BASIC LAYOUT QUESTIONS: Find a 4+ page article in any magazine to critique for these questions
(it should be an article that you would consider having good design)
Answer the following questions in as much detail as possible, it will help you better understand the assignment:
1. What is the magazine you are looking at and what is the type and title of the article that you are critiquing?
2. Explain who the AUDIENCE might be: (group of people, age range, demograpic, interests)?
3. How can you tell that there is a specific audience implied by a magazine style?
4. What Design Elements are present in the magazine layout and specifically the article you are studying?
5. Explain in detail what article you are critiquing? Does this article match the theme of the magazine?
[Ex: Basketball story in ESPN magazine]
6. What are the most eye-catching elements of the magazine article?
7. How is the text handled? Are there multiple fonts being used? How is the text/copy laid out?
