REQUIREMENTS:
A. Must have TWO images as a reflection in the eye.
B. The images must look as if they are PART of the image
C. Must be at least ONE lighting effect

Create a document using template US LETTER (300 ppi)


OPEN AS LAYERS your image of your eye.
Use the scale tool to increase the size so that the iris is easier to see.
Make a duplicate of the layer.
Lock the bottom layer
Turn the TOP layer to black and white by going to COLORS>HUE AND
SATURATION>DESATURATE COMPLETELY by sliding the saturation slider all of the way to the
left.
7. Use the PATHS tool to create a path around the whole pupil.
8. Change the path to a selection
9. In the top layer, delete the iris area revealing the color layer below.
10. Using an eraser with a reduced opacity, soften the edges of the hole where your iris was.
11. Open your images for your reflections as layers
12. Use filters, blending modes and other tools and skills that you have to make it look both
interesting and believable.
13. Experiment with lighting effects. They are under FILTERS>LIGHTING AND SHADOW
14. Complete and print the reflection attached to this document. Change the color of the font
for your answers. PRINT IN COLOR
15. PRINT YOUR IMAGE IN COLOR.
16. SUBMIT BOTH THE IMAGE AND THE REFLECTION. DUE WED. NOV. 12
